Ricky Smith's Audio FAQ

My car's audio is making a weird noise, what does that mean?

Hmm.. Weird noises are never good, but not necessarily a cause for a great concern. Visit us in the vehicle. We've heard most weird noises already, so we can advise you!

How do I know it's time to replace my car's speakers?

Typically, when they rattle or otherwise sound poor, it's time. Most factory speakers can be replaced for a drastic improvement of sound, even if original speakers haven't failed yet.

What does an amplifier do?

By improving power to the speakers, an amplifier brings clarity and volume, and in particular, clarity AT volume.

Can I get Bluetooth added to my car's audio system?

Nearly always! Often by replacing the vehicle's original radio or as an add-on piece.

Can I add custom sound systems to my home theater?

Absolutely! But the nature of "custom" is one-of-a-kind. Call or visit us and we can offer several options for your room.

I don't have a home theater; how can I mimic the feel of one in my regular living room?

You bet! Add a surround sound receiver, at least five speakers, a subwoofer, and Voila!

Do you offer a guarantee?
